Usually the mod first comes in a .zip format, so you just need to use programs like winrar or 7-zip to extract all the contents. After that, they either require you to run a .exe so that the mod can be installed on the halo program or you just need to copy and paste different files to different folders of the program. I recommend looking for instructions on the site or just look for a readme file that should come with the mod.

god…just go to utorrent, type in halo combat evolved and whatever edition you want and download a package…comes with everything.

Most mods Require a mod chip physically put into your xbox unless its a sweet homebrew
Unless you have or dont have you must upload the files onto a preset mod software which usually involves a chip
