where do people hear this stuff. you would have to be under suspicion
for some criminal activity and they would need a warrant before they could do that. just like they need a warrant to use heat seeking devices
to see if there are any people in a house before they break in to arrest someone
Believe me, when you think that the police is hacking into your computer, you can not be further from the truth. The police will NEVER EVER do that, without coming to your home with a search warrant. They will never hack it. They would break the law and when the police start breaking the law. whay will happen. Who can we trust then.
You are either paranoid or some one else is hacking into your computer.
Even that seems unlike, who would be interested in a normal home comuter user

If it is taken for evidence then there is nothing you can do or say about it as for hacking over the internet anybody can do that, so get a good firewall to stop them
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING EVERY THING, WHEN THE ID CARDS COME, THEN ONE WILL BE SWIPING IT ON EVERY DOOR EVERYWHERE, ONLY A FEW YEARS AFTER, THEY ARE OUT TO DESOLVE ANY RIGHTS TO PRIVACY , DID YOU KNOW THAT THESE THERMAL CAMERA’S USED ON THE POLICE HELICOPTERS CAN WATCH YOU IN YOUR BEDROOM WITH REMARKABLE DETAIL……
If your not breaking the law or involved in activities that make intelligence agencies zoom in on you have nothing to worry about.
