By mod chip im hoping you arent talking about the 20 dollar ebay mod chip. Because they are just a 20c resistor from dick smiths, that tricks the air control to think its colder than it is and increase fuel. This is bad in the long run, If you mean a mod chip as in a reprogrammed eprom, its hard to say. Usually you should just get it dyno tuned as it suits your car. If you buy a modded memcal from someone they just guess or make it rough.
