How Can I Tell If Somebody Is Hacking In To My Laptop Computer While I Am Using It?

I am using free wireless with my laptop and also have bluetooth on as well.
Just a little paranoid that somebody might be trying to hack in because I use the area a lot and am quite visible.

    I don’t know about BlueTooth, but make sure you have good firewall software for your wireless connection, such as Zone Alarm Free.
    Zone Alarm will pop up an alert, to let you know when it has blocked an attempted intrusion.

    Zone alarm won’t help if their intercepting your packets, in your wireless settings you should be able to encrypt your packet’s. Also for bluetooth make sure everything is up to date and that you only turn it on when needed because it is very easy to intercept, also with bluetooth make sure you have your rule sets in place of what can connect to it.
