How Easy Is It For Someone To Hack Into Your Email Account?
Author: admin // Category: videosI had some friends in college who talked about hacking into their friends’ email accounts. I’m guessing they knew the peoples’ passwords tho, or guessed. I don’t think they were skilled with computers. Anyway I was friends with this guy a few mons. ago who turned out to be creepy. After we’d been friends for awhile he wanted to date - I didn’t want this and ended up ditching him since he kept bringing up dating and started getting creepy. I ran into him a couple times after that and just said “hi” and went on even though I could tell that he wanted to talk. I thought I was rid of him but it turns out he’s now a student at the college where I work. I’m a library asst. While I was at the desk he comes up and huffily says, I want to return this and walks off. Obviously he’s angry at me. Don’t care but he’s creepy, and knows a lot about computers - I have a fear for some reason that he’ll hack into my Yahoo acct. I know he was obsessed for awhile cause he sent me a long letter. R/o

I never put much stock into E-mail or snail mail, so I really don’t care if someone hacks into my accounts because I make new ones for different things. Like this is my personal account, the one I use at school, for teachers to e-mail me is more for business.
All my really important names and everything are under another account that I hardly ever use so even if someone did hack into this one…I haven’t really lost anything. My advice is only worry about the guy if you actually start to have problems with him. Like he starts calling you or waiting for you after work, or he leaves you little notes to find. Otherwise he probably doesn’t even know the name of your yahoo account unless you told him.

if he sent you a letter instead of an email don’t worry he won’t be technically minded. Also to have someone “hack” your account is near to impossible with all the security measures yahoo have put in place. People who claim to “Hack” into their friends account is a liar they have seen their friend type in there password before or have guessed it unless spyware has been put onto the computer one way to find out if your computer has spyware is to run yahoo antispy free to download and is on the yahoo toolbar. another program which is also free is spybot

well unless you use a bad password… there shouldn’t be that much of a problem.

the main thing you want to do is make sure you’ve used every safeguard and precaution available to you for your email and just internet security in general……….if this guy is really a “computer whiz”, email hacking would be the least of my worries because if this guy was really “dangerous”, he’d probably go for your bank accounts or any financial info he would find that way……that’s where you should probably focus on securing the most……..that’s one way of looking at it anyways

I he has access to a comp where u log in it is a lot more likely.
Using brute force or a remote hack is a lot harder.
Also having a long pass with alpha and numeric characters helps. (use half caps half not too!).
