How Long Does An Iphone 3g Battery Last Before Needing Charge?

6) Games: Up to 4.5 hours

This is a great question! I was going to ask this myself.
Getting 3.5 hours out of your iPhone if you’re using the internet and playing music is pretty normal as I’ve come to realize.

3.25 hours is about as much time as I can get out of my iPhone if I’m using the internet extensively. This is with the brightness all the way up (Auto-brightness off), Wifi on (but not active), Push off and 3G on.
However, you can squeeze days out of your iPhone just by leaving it in Stand-by mode (which is just the iPhone’s screen turned off and sleeping).

mine last about 4 hours but i’m a streaming fan like pandora, aol radio, and anything else that can stream. I herd from watching beta testers testing out the new 3.0 software that it will come with a battery api witch means it should extend the battery life.

mine lasts for 3 days when i/m not using WiFi, 3G, iPod, Bluetooth, games with a minimum of phone calls. When I’m using the internet, games and iPod, it could last for a day, its if you listening music for a hole day and heavily playing a games.

You can pretty much use the phone all day using whatever you need and then charge it every night. The iPhone usually will not last more than one day without charge though.
