How Can I Get Rid Of The Norton Antivirus Expired Subscription Pop-up?

I did not renew my antivirus subscription when it expired about 3 weeks ago. Now I am getting pop-ups constantly everytime I go into Word telling me that the subscription has expired. How can I get rid of the pop-up?

    To get rid of the message, either renew your subscription or un-install Norton Antivirus.
    If you have no other antivirus, uninstall Norton anyway and download comodo antivirus. It’s free and does a very nice job.

    As has been pointed out, Norton AV sucks.
    In order to get rid of it, you need to bury your computer at a crossroads I’m afraid.

    There are only two ways to stop that.
    1. Renew your subscription
    2. Uninstall Norton
    If you’re going to uninstall Norton, make sure that you replace it with something else. Going on the ‘net without anti-virus software, especially if you’re running Windows, is like having unprotected sex. BAD IDEA!

    A. Get AVAST
    1. Remove what you have now. It didn’t do right did it? Dump it
    2. Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and delete the anti-virus program you have now,
    if you have one;
    then use your Search feature, type in the name of your current anti-virus program
    if you have one > right click and delete any instance it finds.

    Install > run > do a thorough scan
    and allow it to run on your computer all the time.

    to get rid of that either u renew or just remove it.. 2nd option sounds good.. if u wnna remove u cn try avast free its good upgrade for norton users

    It sounds like you still have some registry keys and files left behind by Norton. This is not uncommon. Norton software is notoriously hard to completely delete. It is such a problem that they have created their own removal tool to get rid of any lingering files. You can find their removal tool at http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsg...
    Be sure to rid all the instructions before using the removal tool. This should solve your problem.
