Any Suggestions On What Direction To Go In When Mobile Cashback Scheme Goes Wrong??????

Author: admin  //  Category: Uncategorized

I had a 12 mth cashback scheme with phonebox who recently went bust. I am now waiting for vodafone to contact me re: offering me some kind of deal to get me off my £35 a month contract. Any ideas from anyone in same situation would be appreciated.

  1. Matt Says:

If the firm went bust, you’re an unsecured creditor. If another mobile operator bought them out, they may have decided to honour the agreements that users had, but there’s no guarantee. You are, as the first person said, in a difficult position. There is no one to usue for the money because the firm no longer exists. You may wish to go after one of the directors personally and sue him but it will cost you more money to do so than you will get back, if the court were to decide (which they would be unlikely to do) that you should win.

You’ve got no where to go. Your arrangement was with Phonebox and not Vodafone, so you’re stuck until your 12 month contract ends!
