How Can You Mod An Xbox 360 Without Voiding The Warranty???
Author: admin // Category: UncategorizedIn other words whats an easy way to keep te sticker on so if my xbox 360 breaks with the mod case on i can just put the old case on and send it in for free??? Also, any suggestions for a case mod??? Im thinking about getting this Black-chameleon X case from XCM, but i want some opinions. I was also thinkin of just painting my original case.

technically you cannot mod a system without voiding a warranty. there is the old tried and true “blow dryer to the warranty sticker” and removing it carefully with an exact-o knife, then placing it on a piece of wax paper so you can put it back on the system later if need be.
The chameleon x case is nice, but I have see that some times the power cable that powers the lighting system can come loose and make it seem like your system is not working properly (ie no video, won’t boot). There are other cases in the XCM line that don’t require any hook ups to the power system of the 360 and they do look very nice. The chrome one is especially nice.

You can add some cool graphics or faceplate’s without removing the case.
You can paint it like you thought but I would be real careful if you do. I don’t think Microsoft will be very understanding if any paint gets on the inside and they would probably void the warranty.
And I don’t think it’s necessary to curse you for asking the question.
Trolls do that.
Check out decalgirl.com there are lots of skins there.

You can’t! I wouldn’t unless your warranty has run out, theres no point.
