How Can I Tell If Someone Is Hacking Into My Computer?

Author: admin  //  Category: Site News

I know this creepy guy who I have a gut feeling is hacking into my computer. Is there some kind of software I can use to see it he is hacking? If he is hacking can he see all the websites I’ve visited and the documents I have and all my passwords too?!?!?!

Is this a home system? Are you in a network?
Hacking is illegal and you can bring the authorities in to press charges, but most likely he is not doing what you fear.
How would you suspect he is getting into the system? Through the Internet or from the keyboard?

I suggest you get McAfee Internet Suite. Nothing or almost nothing gets past it.
If I see my HDD working like mad with no reason I suspect immediately that someone or some programs on the internet is trying to hack into it.

I don’t think there is software out there that lets you “see” if someone is hacking in to your computer.
In order for the hacker to “hack”, he needs to have a way in. You would need to have port-forwarding enabled on your router (the thing that lets you get online) so that the hacker could get access to your computer. In order to stop this, first make sure that port-forwarding is not enabled, and make sure that your router is password protected as well as your wireless network (if you have one). If you don’t have a wireless network, and/or port forwarding is not enabled, the hacker has no way of accessing your computer directly. You are safe.
    My suggestions are:
1). Put a good password on your router.
2). If it’s not needed, don’t use a wireless network. If it is, make sure it has a good password. If the hacker is not on your network, it will make hacking for him a lot harder.
3). Don’t let him into your house ’cause he’s creepy.
    Good luck,

um im not sure if theres a way to tell if hes hacking you, but i can tell you this. if he is hacking you, he can basically get anything you do off your computer. passwords, credit card numbers, the works. I would reccomend getting a good firewall, zonealarm is a good one. Hope i was able to help
