I’ve got degrees in computing and computer security. You don’t learn how to hack (a pen testing course would tell you that), but you’re basically told people are the weak point, and they’re likely to choose an easy to break password (because it’s easier to remember). In a nutshell no you wouldn’t.

Hmm,
Well there are different things you can have degrees in that invole “computing.”
There are the noob IT majors, who like to fix your computers and have no real clue how anything works and what not, and their are computer science majors who make the whole shebang.
If you got a CS degree you could possible hack into email accounts? I don’t really know what else to tell you. It isn’t really something colleges directly teach you how to do… Most people don’t grow up to get paid to hack email accounts…
I think rather than wasting 4 years and thousands of dollars I’d just read some tutorials and documentation on email security. lol.
It is a lot harder than you think….

Simple answer is no.
‘Hacking’ into someone’s email account would require you being able to find out their password or gain illegal access to the mail server.
For this you would require either a trojan, a keylogger or some polished hacking skills.
None of this stuff is on the required reading of any University course I have heard of.
We cannot post instructions on how to do this sort of thing on this site but that doesn’t mean that the information is not available, you can always google for it.
Note: This is an illegal activity, don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Sorry Jay but you are very wrong, E-mail hacking is very much alive, kicking and easier then ever. If you wanted to be a “Grey” (ethical) hacker you would probably have to study Networking or Security. Computing is more coding and fixing computer’s from virus attacks and what not.

No!
You would probably get background knowledge if you study security but only that.
Hacking an e-mail account requires extensive knowledge on programming, or lots of time if ‘brute-forcing’.
But basically hacking an e-mail account nowadays is simply impossible.

Actually, networking is more suitable for hacking. Computing is for designing software, managing information system.

Yes you can but you might not want to because if your heck is anylazed the police will know where you live
(by your IP adress)

hi
it is not necessary to have diploma or degree to do this

No you don’t even need any qualifications just the knowledge.

That is not the sort of question you should be asking on here in the first place! Read the guide lines.
